1. Assumption of Risk

I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian, understand that the above activities involve physical play and movement which may include risks of slips, falls, or minor injury despite all reasonable safety precautions. I acknowledge that Zawaya Gaming has taken appropriate safety measures to reduce risk, and I voluntarily permit my child to participate at my own discretion and understanding of these risks.

2. Supervision and Behaviour

I agree that my child will follow all posted safety rules and instructions provided by Zawaya Gaming staff. I understand that parental or adult supervision is required at all times, and that Zawaya Gaming reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant acting in an unsafe manner.

3. Acknowledgment of Outdoor Conditions

The Participant acknowledges that the Event takes place outdoors and that weather conditions (including heat and humidity) are variable. The Organiser will provide reasonable access to shaded areas and water. Participants and their accompanying minors must remain hydrated, take regular breaks, and immediately inform Event staff of any illness or discomfort.

4. Assumption of Risk & Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including Article 296 of the UAE Civil Code and relevant Free Zone regulations), the Participant voluntarily assumes all inherent risks associated with attending an outdoor event. The Organiser is released from liability for weather-related health conditions, except in cases of gross negligence, willful misconduct, or non-waivable statutory duties.

5. Minors & Parental Indemnity

The signing adult warrants that they are the legal parent or court-appointed guardian of any accompanying minor under eighteen (18) years of age. The Parent/Guardian accepts full responsibility for the minor’s safety and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Organiser against any claims brought by or on behalf of the minor arising from outdoor conditions or failure to follow safety guidelines.

6. Medical Condition and Emergency Consent

I confirm that my child is in good health and fit to participate in these activities. I authorize Zawaya Gaming staff to obtain emergency medical care for my child if deemed necessary, and I agree to cover any related medical costs.

7. Limited Liability & Indemnity

I understand that this waiver does not exclude or limit any liability for personal injury or harm caused by negligence, gross negligence, or willful misconduct of Zawaya Gaming or its employees, in accordance with UAE law. However, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zawaya Gaming against any loss, claim, or damage arising from failure to follow safety rules, intentional misconduct, or damage caused by my child’s actions.

8. Property & Personal Belongings

Zawaya Gaming is not responsible for loss or damage to any personal belongings brought into the play area. Valuables should not be left unattended.

9. Photography & Media Consent

I consent to Zawaya Gaming taking photographs or video recordings of my child during the activities for use in promotional materials, social media, or reports.

10. Data Protection and Privacy

I acknowledge that my and my child’s personal information will be collected and stored for safety, operational, and contact purposes only. All information will be handled in accordance with the UAE Federal Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and will not be shared with third parties except where required by law or public authorities.

11. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. In case of conflict between Arabic and English versions of this form, the Arabic version shall prevail.
